More and more magic societies from all over the world are joining FISM. Only highly qualified magicians can compete to the much coveted FISM Grand Prix. To enable their pre-selection, the General Assembly of the FISM has decided to introduce continental Championships of Magic. I am proud that the first of these continental championship will be the FISM ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS OF MAGIC I am grateful to the President of the interim FISM Executive Board, Mrs. Eun-Sun Chung for taking the lead and to organize this extensive championship at such a short notice. I wish her and her dedicated team lots of success and all the participants to this historical event some truly wonderful days, full of Asian magic. The magic fraternity is looking forward to meet the Asian champions of Magic!
